The Seahawks Spring 2021 Season will begin on TUESDAY, JANUARY 12th for boys at Twin Lakes Park, Multipurpose Field #1                                                               

(field closest to the Lake, gazebos, and restrooms)

*10% Sibling discount (please manually enter your $40 discount for each registered sibling after your initial registered player at full price). Payment options and financial assistance available for families who qualify.  

SEAHAWKS SPRING 2021 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:

• Boys Spring 2021 Season:  Practice starts Tuesday, January 12th (all boys).  Last game is tentatively Saturday, April 17th
• Participation in the Florida Gulf Coast Lacrosse League, FGCLL
• Approx. 30 practices
• Approx. 10 games against other FGCLL teams
• Emphasis on small-sided games/training (Q-Ball by Athletiq Youth Development Foundation, www.AthletiqYouth.org)
• Custom Uniforms (top and shorts)
• New members of a highly qualified coaching staff for the Seahawks Boys Teams: Matthew DeMasi, Eric Fenton, Bill Shatz and Russ Skibicki
• Face-off specialist added to coaching staff who will teach the skill to all players who express an interest in learning to face-off
• Collegiate level Coaching and Lacrosse Operations Advisor added to Club's Advisory Board (Coach Bill Shatz, Current Offensive Coordinator at NCAA DII University of Tampa)
• Loaner equipment available while supplies last

SCHEDULING AND PROGRAMMING NOTES:

• The Seahawks Lacrosse Club emulates the Athletiq Youth Development Model, and we are one of the 1st lacrosse clubs in the Country to adopt the Model as a guiding principle for long-term, sustainable growth. 
• US Lacrosse is working with youth leagues and events throughout the country to ensure that players are grouped appropriately to keep players safe and to help make competition fair.  
• Boys teams will be divided into divisions by age and ability, 8U, 10U (8U and 10U could combine depending on registration numbers), 12U and 14U.  
• Divisions are designed to promote fair competition, safety, and are in line with the US Lacrosse Age Segmentation Guidelines.
• The Seahawks Coaching Staff and Directors exercise professional judgment for what is in the best interest of each individual player; as well as, for each team's overall success.

• Boys Player/Parent Meeting, Tuesday January 12th, 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Gazebo @ Twin Lakes (practice to follow)
• Start Date: Tuesday, January 12th
• Tentative Finish: Saturday, April 17th
